Who are we?

Hi I’m Russ, the owner and creator of Fat Buoy Bellyboards.
Fat Buoy Bellyboards started creating sustainable Bellyboards in 2021.

After being introduced to the world of bellyboarding, I immediately recognised that there was a gap in the market for sustainable belly boards. Living on the South Coast and being very aware of issues caused by plastic pollution it was my dream to create boards made purely from sustainable materials.

Prices

All of our boards are handmade from start to finish. We keep the designs simplistic as a nod to the originals. We use sustainable gaboon marine plywood finished with hemp oil and varnish for longevity. We also offer custom laser engraving and art work.

Join the Fun

Bellyboarding is a great surface water sport and accessible for people of all abilities. Riding a bellyboard on the crest, face or curl of a wave and being carried to shore is incredibly good fun, it is also a great way of keeping fit.
